Join Our Team: Deliver Meals, Smiles, and Hope in West LA
Meals on Wheels of West Los Angeles relies entirely on the hearts and hands of neighbors like you. Since 1976, our volunteer-led organization has delivered vital nutrition to homebound residents who cannot shop or cook for themselves. Because we operate independent of government funding, our volunteer drivers are the lifeblood of our mission. By donating just a few of hours of your week, you provide the human connection and safety check-in that allows our clients to live independently and with dignity.
How it works:
Volunteer Hours
Shift Times: Monday through Friday, approximately 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Flexible Commitment: Volunteer whenever you are free! Just share your availability with us, and we will get you on the schedule.
Volunteer Tasks
Pack and Deliver: Start at the office by packing our insulated bags with pre-packaged sandwich lunches, hot dinners, fresh fruit, and milk. Once packed, you head out to drive a designated local route and deliver the food with a warm smile to our senior and homebound clients.
