Meals on Wheels of West Los Angeles delivers over 160 meals daily
to homebound individuals living on the west side.
Forty percent of all our clients cannot afford the full cost of their
meals. Your donations help to ensure that the nutritious meals and human
contact provided by Meals on Wheels of West LA will continue.
Since we receive no government funding, it is by the gifts of our
donors that we are able to deliver nourishment, comfort, and independence. It's estimated that as much as 11.4% of seniors are at risk for hunger in this country. Your contribution will be used to pay for meals for the homebound who, otherwise, couldn't afford them. All contributions are tax exempt. OTHER

volunteers are always welcome at Meals on Wheels of west LA. Younger students

college students who already are licensed drivers are especially appreciated
as reinforcements to our regular corps of volunteers. We will be happy to
record your community service hours for you and send that information to your
school. All
contributions are appreciated! Thank you. |
